School

School

I go to the best university in the world, Texas A&M University, and I keep myself busy by doing a bunch of interesting things. I am graduating with a bachelor of science in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Engineering project management. Texas A&M has given me so many opportunities to increase my curiosity and teach me new things beyond the classroom.

Student Organizations

Aggie Classics

Aggie Classics is where I spend most of my time outside of school ever since I joined in 2018. It is my favorite organization and it is where I met my lifelong friends. Not only that but it has created me into the leader that I am today.

Aggie Classics is a women’s leadership organization that prides itself on providing a welcoming environment to help develop well-rounded women and empowers women to make a positive impact on campus and beyond. Throughout my time in Aggie Classics, I have had the opportunity to be in the Philanthropy Committee, in which I was in charge of raising thousands of dollars for our philanthropy, Rescue Pink. We did this by hosting various events, such as profit shares, bake sales, and more recently, mask sales. Every year we also host a campus-wide volleyball tournament with over 50 teams.

This past year I was in the recruitment and fundraising committee where I was in charge of the recruitment process and welcoming 30 new members to the organization as well as hosting various events to raise thousands of dollars for the organization to give back to our members.

Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers

The Institute of Industrial & Systems Engineers is responsible for providing knowledge, training, networking opportunities, and recognition to enhance the skills and effectiveness of the industrial and systems engineering profession and those individuals involved with improving quality and productivity. This organization introduced me to many different companies and allowed me to see all the different things I can do with my degree.

Society of Women Engineers

Am I really a female engineer if I am not a part of SWE? The Society of Women Engineers is dedicated to helping women achieve success in engineering academically, personally, and professionally. More importantly, SWE has helped me learn how to navigate through the male-driven world.

My journey with SWE began my freshman year when I joined SWElites, a freshman leadership program. In this program, I was in the professional development committee and was responsible for the professional development of all the members of SWElites.
